"Experiencing God through others"
Please reach us at blessedtrinitymissiontrip@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
For 19 years, Mission Trip has been successfully "encountering God through others" by providing an exhilarating week of faith, fellowship, and service. We ask for nothing more than to come with an open mind, a willingness to work hard, and a desire to be kind to others, to live in the present moment, and to let the Holy Spirit touch your heart. Everyone who attends Mission Trip comes away with a different experience. Some feel accomplished by serving others and satisfying the high school requirement for community service hours. Some come away saying it was one of the best weeks of their lives. Many friendships are made. Eyes are opened to those in need all around us. And some may renew their faith in a loving God who has a plan for our lives and wants us to know we are not alone but can walk in fellowship with others. The Mission Trip "vibe" is fun, respectful, serious, egalitarian, exhausting, silly, spiritual, curious, Christian--- all of those things. It's impossible to explain in words. Come join us and find out for yourself.
Teens and chaperones will gather before the 10:30 Mass on Sunday, July 19, to finalize paperwork and drop off luggage. After Mass and lunch, we will depart for Albany.
Each day will begin with a wakeup call around 6:00 am, followed by breakfast and Mass or a liturgy. Work groups will be sent out by 9:30 and will return to base by 4:30 or 5:00. You will have an hour and a half for downtime and hygiene before dinner. Evening chapel will follow dinner, followed by another downtime of around an hour or so to conclude the day. Lights out at 11:00 pm – but you may want to go to bed sooner!
Packing lists are shared at the annual mandatory teen and parent meeting. Generally speaking, plan to pack clothes that can handle hard work, along with one or two outfits to wear during downtime or on travel days. Mattresses will be provided, but you will need to bring bedding (either sleeping bags or sheets) and pillows.
Camp Pinnacle in Voorheesville, NY – about a half hour outside of downtown Albany. We will be staying on their Pine Ridge campus, which has bunk-style cabins, restroom facilities, and a large multi-purpose space, along with ample outdoor space. Camp Pinnacle is located in a beautiful, quiet area and will offer a wonderful space for reflection and downtime after a long day of service.
There are two large cabins, one for each gender. Each cabin has several rooms with 10 bunks per room. Rooms will be assigned by the Mission Trip Planning team.
The men’s room and women’s room each have three shower stalls with hot running water. So, hot showers will be available – but they’ll need to be kept quick so everyone gets a turn!
We are expecting a mix of work primarily with local nonprofit organizations such as shelters, food pantries, or religious organizations. Work could range from sorting and stacking donations to light carpentry and construction.
Mission Trip 2026 costs will be set when registration opens. The fee covers 5 nights of lodging, breakfasts, lunches, snacks, dinners, water/drinks, ice coolers, T-shirts, programs, crafts, printing, and transportation. Mission Trip teens are also required to support at least one of our fund-raisers.
Everyone is invited to apply to attend regardless of ability to pay. If your family has a financial hardship, please contact us for an accommodation: blessedtrinitymissiontrip@gmail.com.

The answer is usually yes. Please be complete in filling out the medical forms so our team can have a conversation with you and your guardian(s) about ways we can make accommodations for you. We try to accommodate those with dietary restrictions and those with physical or medical issues which may limit the types of projects they can assist with.
It's fine if you don't know anyone. In fact, some of the best friendships have been made on Mission Trip. "Trust the process" and be open to the transformation that will happen within you and the other Mission Trippers.
Yes! As one of the older teens, we may also ask you to take on a leadership role to support the younger teens. If you are 18+ you will need to complete VIRTUS training (formerly known as "Protecting God's Children") and also fill out a CORI form. Contact us for more information.
Yes! If you are entering high school you may attend. It's a great way to start your high school career by expanding your "friend group". We may also be able to accommodate you if you are entering 8th grade and have an older sibling also attending. Please contact us to discuss.
The quick answer is yes! Mission Trip is open to all teens looking to deepen their spirituality and serve as God's hands and feet in the community. Our experience is rooted in the teachings and practices of the Catholic faith. Morning liturgy and evening Chapel attendance is mandatory, but other "Catholic-y" practices are optional and no one is made to feel diminished for not participating. While we do read the Bible during Chapel, Mission Trip is not intended to be a replacement for a Catholic Catechism curriculum.
