1. Connect your phone to your ESP32 robot via Bluetooth for movement commands.

Arajit Das ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our") built the BT Cam Bot app as a Free, Ad-Supported application. This SERVICE is provided by Arajit Das at no cost and is intended for use "AS IS".

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

1. Information Collection and Use

For the core operations of the Application, the Developer guarantees that the Application itself does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) to any external servers. All core robotic control features operate strictly locally on your device.

2) Third-Party Services and Advertising (AdMob)

While the core app does not collect personal data, the Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you for advertising purposes. Specifically, the Application uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements.

AdMob may automatically collect certain information, such as your IP address, device identifiers (including the Android Advertising ID), and usage data to serve relevant ads and analyze ad performance.

3. App Permissions and Hardware Access

To function correctly, the Application requires specific device permissions solely for local hardware communication. We do not collect or transmit data from these permissions to our servers:

Bluetooth Permissions: Used exclusively to search for, pair with, and establish a local connection with your external ESP32 microcontroller. This is required to send movement commands to the robot car. No Bluetooth connection data or location history is logged, tracked, or shared.

Network/Wi-Fi Permissions: Used to establish a local area network (LAN) connection to the hardware and to load advertisements from Google AdMob.

4. Camera and Video Stream Data

The Application includes a web viewer feature where the user can manually input a local IP address to access a video feed from an external camera module (ESP32-CAM).

The Application does not access, request, or use your mobile device's built-in camera.

The video stream from your external hardware is processed locally on your screen over your local network.

This video stream is not recorded, saved, transmitted to the Developer, or uploaded to any cloud services by the Application.

5. Data Retention and Deletion Policy

Because the Application does not collect or store any personal data on our servers, there is no personal data to retain or delete. Any data generated (such as saved IP addresses for the camera) is stored locally on your device and is immediately deleted if you uninstall the Application or clear the app's data from your device settings.

6. Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. The Developer does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Developer so that necessary actions can be taken.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

The Developer may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
