Hi everyone,

I just finished translating a movie into hebrew. The thing is, the subtitles are shown in time and in Hebrew *but* with the period in the start of the sentence instead of in the end. I'm guessing it has to do with Hebrew being a language written from right to left, as opposed to English.

Is there a way to fix that?

Thanks a lot in advance!

If you are seeing incorrectly displayed characters in subtitles, go toPreferences>Subtitle encoding and select appropriate encoding for your language. You can find the right encoding (codepage) from the following list: -codes.asp?s=codepage .

BSPlayer is a popular media player for Windows. The remote supports the essential navigation and playback controls as well as a tab dedicated for DVD playback, including controls for navigation, chapters, subtitles and languages.

VLC media player has an addons/extension site: addons.videolan.org. There is to be found another VLC media player addon for subtitles, called Subtitle Finder. It seems a bit deprecated from time to time, while the VLSub is actively supported and updated.

VLC media player with VLSub can even find subtitles for DVDs, although VLC media player is not too good at displaying such external subtitles for DVD movies. But it can search and download them, as follows:

One of the most interesting features of SMPlayer: it remembers the settings of all files you play. So you start to watch a movie, but you have to leave... Don't worry, when you open that movie again it will resume at the same point you left it, and with the same settings: audio track, subtitles, volume...

When you open a movie that has no subtitles already downloaded, this window will pop up. If there are any subtitles already, delete them in order to get this window (there are other ways but for the sake of simplicity - just delete them). Press the '...' button to add languages.

Most of the popular Kodi video add-ons are capable of downloading subtitles automatically, but sometimes you need more control over the subtitle selection process to get the right one for your videos.

Some of our favorite add-ons on the official repository are OpenSubtitles.com, Subscene Subtitles, and Addic7ed. These add-ons offer subtitles in many languages.

a4kSubtitles and SubLoader are two great subtitle add-ons. Both can grab subtitles from a set of popular subtitle websites, they can find subtitles in many languages, and do not require a user account (but you can still use your own OpenSubtitles account for better results).

SubLoader is a service add-on that automatically finds and downloads subtitles for your content with great accuracy. No need to navigate menus, just play your content and SubLoader will do the rest. This add-on is especially useful if you use subtitles often.

Ever felt the feeling of watching your favourite movie by just trying to understand the scenes by actions and not with audio just because it is in other languages? It must be frustrating and inconvenient too. But now, you never need to do so. You can now add subtitle files with the help of video player and start to play video in moments in videos downloaded from Netflix and Youtube too. To facilitate you in this, we have recommended 5 video players with which you can add and play a video with subtitles in today's article.

Next to UniConverter, KM player stands in our list that can show about three subtitles at a time for a video. You can perform operations like merging of subtitles, finding subtitles online, adding effects, syncing, and exploring as well as editing them. KM player supports subtitle files belonging to formats like OGG, AAC, RTS, WMA7 and 3D video playback files belonging to MPEG1, MPEG2, and a lot more. It comes under high-quality video renderer, and video downloader.

With BS.Player download, you can display all kinds of videos directly on your PC. Moreover, you can play AVCHD videos too. The free video player lets you customize playback modes, speed, and other parameters. It also offers support for video subtitles and lets you take screenshots in the middle of playback. With BS.Player, you can also create chapters and bookmarks for convenient browsing through the multimedia files on the system.

BSPlayer has a handy option that allows us to download subtitles directly from the program. This option works great and we recommend you use it. When you download subtitles in this way, the file will be placed in a special folder, and the file name will be the same as the name of the video file for which that translation is for, only an abbreviation of the translation language will be added at the end of the file name.

Watch our video in which we show you how to set BSPlayer to save downloaded subtitles in the same folder as the movie and with the same name. In one part you need to enter this code: %P\%F%SE, so it is best to copy it from here.

Yes, BSPlayer supports subtitles in various formats, including SRT, SUB, and SSA. Users can also adjust the timing and position of subtitles, change their font and color, and download subtitles from the internet directly from within the player. ff782bc1db
