What is Behavioral Health?

Behavioral health looks at how an individuals' behaviors impacts their mental and physical health. Behavioral health includes our daily habits and actions. Today, behavioral and mental health are often used interchangeably but behavioral health is a broader term that can encompass mental health as well. Both mental and behavioral health can influence each other and treatments, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, utilize this intersection. Therefore, understanding behavioral health can positively impact individual's lives.
