Welcome to BSM Time Sync

As a SportIdent user, I always found it inconvenient that synchronizing BSM stations required a Windows laptop. During training events and small competitions, carrying a laptop just to set the correct time felt unnecessary.

That is why I created BSM Time Sync.

BSM Time Sync allows you to read and synchronize the time of SportIdent BSM stations directly from an Android phone. The app uses accurate network time from your mobile device, making it easy to keep stations synchronized without a Windows computer.

The application has been tested extensively with my own equipment and has performed reliably during development. However, this is an independent project and there may still be undiscovered issues or device-specific problems.

For that reason I currently recommend using BSM Time Sync for:

• Training events

• Equipment testing

• Non-critical use

Although everything has worked as expected in my testing, users should verify correct operation before relying on the app in important events.

Note's

The application has been extensively tested. However, because this is an independent project, I currently recommend using it for training and testing activities until more field experience has been gathered.

The app works with both BSM7 and BSM8 stations. However, the BSM8 is faster and is therefore recommended.
