We're back in Manila! Day 1 was a blast and so is the second day. We traveled to Makati, wearing blue shirts. On this day, we visited QBO Innovation Hub. First of all, their office was gorgeous. It gave off Filipino bayanihan because of the Kubo at the right corner. We were lectured about the company of QBO (kubo), its founding background and their organization that is oriented towards team-building. According to Ms. Karla Legaspi, the speaker, they are a team of four people that goes around the country to do awareness campaigns and learning sessions with schools; students and professors in Senior High Schools and college. They talk about startups and the opportunities for people to do innovation and how they can get involved. They are enablers of startups. She mentioned that startups are modern problem-solvers, using technology to tackle issues in innovative ways. Essentially, they represent progress, consisting of teams or businesses that are attempting new things no one else has done or finding better methods than current practices. These projects have the potential to be highly scalable, aiming to solve problems where the solutions are not obvious. Scalability, for them, meant achieving very fast growth with very little resources needed.  Our visit to QBO Innovation Hub left us inspired by the ingenuity and drive of these modern pioneers, reinforcing the limitless possibilities of innovation in our own future endeavors. 

QBO Innovation Hub
