Your user name is your email address before @bsc.edu. To reset your password go to moodle.bsc.edu in your web browser. From the login page, click Forgotten your username or password. Follow the directions on the next screen to reset your password.

Respondus is a web-based exam monitoring tool. Watch this brief video to get a basic understanding of Lockdown Browser and the webcam feature.
Birmingham-Southern has a custom download link. Please do not attempt to download the browser from the Respondus website. You can download Respondus at this link. This link can also be found in the quiz description for any quiz requiring Respondus. If you do not have your own computer, some lab computers are equipped with Respondus.
When you attempt to access a quiz that requires Respondus Lockdown Browser , you will see Respondus in the title of the quiz and a notification on the quiz page. If needed, you can download the browser from this page. Some exams may require the use of the browser and the monitor. The monitor feature also requires a webcam.
In order to access the quiz, you will need to log into Moodle from the Respondus Browser. While in the browser you will not be able to go to other sites, leave the test, or close the window until you submit your exam.
Do not start the exam until you will have enough time to complete it.
There is a $15 annual fee to use Respondus Monitor. This fee only needs to be paid once through one of your courses using the Monitor service. You will be instructed to pay this fee using a credit or debit card the first time that you attempt to take a test that requires Respondus monitor. There is no need to pay before this time. If this cost is prohibitive or if you do not have a credit or debit card, you can request a free voucher.

Some of the features in Turnitin can not be viewed in Internet Explorer. If you are having issues, check your browser. Try using Chrome, Safari, or Firefox instead. Even if you are using one of the approved browsers, switching to another browser may solve the issue.
If your instructor allows it, you can resubmit an assignment submission until the due date. If your instructor has enabled this setting, go back to the assignment Submission inbox and click Submit paper to resubmit. If this does not work, you instructor may not allow students to resubmit work. Please reach out to your instructor to discuss resubmitting your assignment or submitting a late assignment.
Grades and feedback are only available after the Post date for the assignment. The Post date is listed at the top of the Turnitin assignment page. For written or audio remarks, under Grade click the pencil icon next to your score. If your instructor has directed you to view feedback before the post date listed on the assignment, please follow up with your instructor. He or she may need to change the post date.
Feedback and grades on Turnitin assignment become available after the Post date listed for the assignment. You will then be able to view your feedback which may include an originality report, text or audio feedback, and your grade(s).
The Moodle gradebook will display your final grade. All other feedback is accessed through the Turnitin Submissions inbox. To view feedback in the Submissions inbox:
