Dr. Akshay Srivastava
Dr. Akshay Srivastava is currently an Associate professor in the Department of Medical Devices at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Ahmedabad. He is working in the area of biomaterial design and fabrication, tissue engineering, in vitro models, and bioseparations. He has secured DST-SERB Early career grant and was honored with the prestigious award of Ramalingaswami Re-entry fellowship. He has successfully worked on 2 industrial projects and have been involved in nurturing startups at NIPER-A. His innovations have been acknowledged by receiving one patent and the other three have been applied. He has published 40 plus research/review articles in reputed journals and 5 book chapters with total 1600 plus citations.
