In the heart of August, Troop 561 took to Turkey Run State Park for a sunlit weekend of adventure and teamwork. After setting up camp, Scouts grabbed paddles and launched into Sugar Creek for a scenic 6-mile canoe trek. Winding through sandstone cliffs and shaded bends, the journey tested their coordination, endurance, and splash avoidance skills. Along the way, they spotted wildlife, navigated gentle rapids, and shared plenty of laughs. It was a weekend of bonding.
