The handbook will have all of the things you need to know on your way to the Eagle Rank, but when you start working you way up you have to go thur the other rank and the requirements.

Your "Boy Scout Handbook" will have a booklet in the begining of your handbook, this will help you to Protect Your Scout form Child Abuse.
The Boy Scout Ranks will have some requirements, once you have done the requirements for the rank let your Scoutmaster know and they will sign-off rank.
The scout positions are like jobs, there are "16" positions that a scout can work for.
Below there are the positions that a scout can have.
Senior Patrol Leader: SPL
This position is the top youth leader in the troop, the scout presides over all meetings & Activities.
Assistant Senior Patrol Leader: ASPL
This position assists the SPL, this is given to whoever the SPL wants to assist them.
Patrol Leader: PL
This position is the patrol leader for one of the 3, the PL plans & leads patrol meetings & Activities.
