About the Troop
Troop 189 was established in 1964 in the Clarkston area. The troop currently has over 30 active scouts who participate in community service and youth adventures. We meet Tuesday nights during the school year from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church. The church is located just west of M-15 at 6805 Bluegrass Drive. Over 100 Scouts from Troop 189 have earned the rank of Eagle Scout since the Troop's initial charter.
Some of the activities we have fun doing include camping, hiking, canoeing, biking, rock climbing, lock-ins and performing many service projects.
