We are glad to present to you the Second Black Swan Academy Conference, devoted to bushfire dynamics. Bushfires are complex phenomena at the crossroads of many disciplines. This event aims to bring together experts from mathematics, physics, engineering, environmental and fire sciences, and other fields, to discuss bushfire modelling from different perspectives. We hope that this exchange of ideas across disciplines will open new directions and collaborations for understanding and predicting bushfire behaviour.
