WHAT IS THE PACK 357 CLOSET?
It consists of donated BSA clothing (pant, shirts, neckerchiefs, hats, belts, bags, etc). When your scout outgrows or no longer needs the scout-related clothing, then those items can be donated to the Pack 357 Closet, so that our pack families can take what they need. There is no cost. There is no catch. This is a service for our pack families to help each other with our scouting needs.
HOW TO DONATE?
The Pack 357 Closet is always available for donations of clean, unwanted Scouting Uniform items that would be useful to other members of the Pack. If you have clothing to donate please bring the item(s) to the pack meetings/den meetings and hand them over to the cub master or uniform committee chair. Please make sure that clothing has been washed and is wearable.
REQUESTING A UNIFORM?
When a need is recognized, click on the excel spreadsheet link below, then click on the link that is labeled "Click here to place an order", and fill out the request form. Completion of the form will automatically send a message to pack uniform committee chair/ leadership who will reach out with confirmation of availability.
Scouts are welcome to borrow uniforms with the understanding that the uniforms will be returned when outgrown, when the Scout crosses over to Scouts BSA, or if the Scout leaves the pack with exception of bags. Parents and Scouts are responsible for obtaining the correct patches for borrowed uniforms. Scouts are expected to do their best to maintain borrowed uniforms so that they can be returned in usable condition. Borrowed uniforms must be returned clean and with earned patches neatly removed. Patches are to be sewn onto borrowed uniforms. Please do not use the iron-on products (e.g., Badge Magic) or glue to attach patches!
HOW TO ACCESS THE PACK 357 CLOSET?
The items will be at most scheduled pack meetings and den meetings. Please review the spreadsheet below which contains the Pack 357 Closet inventory ahead of time for item availability.
