Bangladesh Student Association at Georgia State University (GSU) is the official organization that connects and represents the current and former Bangladeshi students, faculties, and staffs of GSU. BSA@GSU is committed to creating a common ground for students to promote and increase awareness of Bengali culture, language, and history. It is a non-political and non-profit student organization. BSA@GSU provides students with an opportunity to develop leadership skills, create lasting friendships with local and International students, and serve the community.
In addition to arranging various cultural events, the members of BSA@GSU also take part in a broad range of adventurous and fun activities to spice up their busy and monotonous student life. BSA will welcome newly arrived Bangladeshi students and help them adjust to the local culture, as well as to the GSU campus life. BSA will also provide networking among its members. Another essential purpose of BSA is to promote leadership among members through on-campus involvements and programs. BSA at Georgia State University will give voluntary service and assistance to the university students and encourage Bangladeshi culture and related activities on campus.
