I am a Professor at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw.
I work on the measurement of welfare, poverty, and inequality and on the empirical evaluation of social policies.
My recent work increasingly emphasizes replication and reproducibility - including an assessment within the Robustness and Replicability in Economics (R2E) project, funded by Open Philanthropy and RWI - and microsimulation of tax-benefit reforms, including a job guarantee, child benefits, and basic income.
I also study subjective well-being and the political economy of populism.
