Catarina is a shy but curious girl who enjoys her quiet moments. She loves to explore her surroundings and will appreciate a cozy nook where she can feel safe. While she’s still learning about the world of humans, she has really come out of her shell at her foster home!   She loves to snuggle in bed with her foster mom and any guests.  With patience and gentle encouragement, Catarina will blossom into a loving companion.  Catarina would do best as the only pet in a calm, quiet home.  Catarina needs a patient and understanding adopter who can give her the time she needs to adjust. A home with a stable routine, a warm lap to curl up in, and plenty of love will help her continue to grow. If you have a soft spot for underdogs (or undercats!), Catarina might just be the perfect match for you.

At only 3 years old, Jasmine already had at least 2 litters of kittens as a cared for stray before coming into BCCS care. She has been a fabulous mom who had some gorgeous and sweet babies, but she is tired of the single mom life and ready to get away from them. She is timid due to not being an owned pet for most of her life, but she is very sweet. She gets a little spooked by people reaching to pet her, but she loves to rub against peoples' legs for affection. She does not like dogs, but does well with other cats. She would do best in a quiet home with people who would give her space when she wants it. With patience and love, she will likely come out of her shell and become more of a snuggle bug.

Meet Finch — a one-of-a-kind orange tabby with a heart as golden as his fur and a sense of humor to match! This handsome boy got his name after being discovered snacking on birdseed (he’s always been resourceful!). Finch is about a year old and has a sweet, gentle spirit. Though he can be a little shy at first, once he feels safe, his funny and affectionate side shines through.

Finch has tested positive for FeLV, which means he’ll need a home where he’s either the only cat, joins another FeLV-positive friend, or is adopted with one of his FeLV buddies. With a calm, patient family willing to give him time to settle in, Finch is sure to blossom into a loyal, loving companion — and keep you smiling with his adorable antics every step of the way.

Boo (10-11 months old) is a total lovebug who believes all attention should be his — and he’s not shy about it! This handsome boy absolutely adores pets, cuddles, and being the center of your world. If someone else is getting attention, Boo will politely (and sometimes not-so-politely) remind you that he’s next in line. Playful, affectionate, and full of personality, Boo brings joy and laughter wherever he goes. He loves chasing toys and romping around with his sister, Willow, and would be thrilled to find a home with her — though he’s confident enough to charm any family on his own.

Meet Angel, a beautiful 1-year-old brown tabby and the loving mother to Boo and Willow. Angel may have a grumpy face, but don’t let her expression fool you — her heart is pure gold! This sweet girl loves gentle pets and affection once she feels comfortable. She can be a little shy at first, but with a bit of patience, her loving personality truly shines.

Angel adores her two kittens, Boo and Willow, and gets along well with other cats and even dogs (as long as introductions are done slowly). When she first arrived, Angel was a spicy momma who wasn’t so sure about people — but she’s lived up to her name beautifully! Now she’s a calm, loving companion who’s ready to bring her quiet sweetness and soft purrs to a forever home of her own.

Meet Gus, a 10-month-old bundle of joy who’s full of spunk and personality! Despite losing an eye and being born without a tail, Gus doesn't let that slow him down—he's an energetic little guy with a hilarious, bunny-like hop that’s common among Manx cats. He's incredibly playful and loves spending time with his found family (Nora, Billy, and Tuck). Gus is also quite the chatterbox, always ready to share his thoughts, especially when it’s mealtime—he loves his food! This sweet boy is affectionate, loves attention, and adores being pet. He’s soft, cuddly, and would make a delightful companion for a loving home.

Meet Nora, a stunning 10-month-old torti-point "Siamese" kitten with a heart full of sweetness. Though she can be a little shy, she’s incredibly affectionate and loves spending time with her siblings, particularly Gus and her biological brother Billy. Whether she’s curled up beside them or playfully chasing after her foster home companions, Nora’s gentle spirit is always present. While she enjoys playing, Nora is more reserved when it comes to new environments, preferring a bit of time to adjust. If you're looking for a sweet, calm companion to bring joy to your home, Nora could be the perfect match!

Big, handsome Nanuq is a teddy bear in kitten form — chunky, cuddly, and absolutely full of affection. He loves attention, being held, and giving kisses like his sister Mukwa, but with extra floof and charm. He’s playful, gentle, and just the right mix of silly and sweet. If you want a kitten who melts into your arms and purrs like a tiny motor, Nanuq’s your guy.

At 7 years old, these lovely ladies are spayed, vaccinated, and in great health—though they do carry a little extra fluff! Pip and Squeak are a bit shy with new people and may need a few days to settle in, but once they feel safe, they are incredibly sweet companions. They love lounging in sunny windows, curling up on a cozy bed, and occasionally batting around a toy.

YoNa might be the only “bear cub” of her litter born with a tail, but she wears it proudly — especially with its cute little kink at the end! She is roughly 6 months old and ready for a home to call her own!  This classic tuxedo girl is sweet, gentle, and always happy to play, though she’s not quite as demanding as some of her more attention-hungry siblings. She’s a little lady who enjoys quiet affection, soft pets, and cozy naps near her favorite humans. 

Mukwa (6 months old) is all sweetness and snuggles. The moment you sit down, she’s ready to curl up in your lap and press her face against yours — her favorite way to say “I love you.” With her silky black coat, tiny white chest dot, and adorable lack of tail, she’s as unique as she is loving. Bottle-raised and spoiled in all the best ways, Mukwa’s perfect day involves a cozy blanket, some gentle pets, and nonstop kisses. 

Uzu is a striking 6-month-old tuxedo beauty with no tail and a heart full of love. She’s playful, curious, and affectionate, always ready to offer a few headbutts and kisses between zoomies. Uzu is equal parts mischief and mush — she’ll chase toys with determination and then flop down for snuggles when she’s had her fun. She’s the perfect blend of spunky and sweet!

Meet Beans and Nova, a gorgeous 10-month-old brother and sister duo who are ready to find their forever home.

These two were rescued after the hurricane and found a wonderful home, but sadly had to be returned to Bryson City Cat Sanctuary due to their owner’s living situation—absolutely no fault of their own.

Beans and Nova are the sweetest cuddle bugs you’ll ever meet! They love snuggling up at night (sometimes right on top of you ), watching birds and critters out the window, and playing together. They also get along well with other cats, making them the perfect addition to a multi-cat household.
