Sight Word Twister

For this tool, you will need the following materials: One Twister game, 24 index cards, one marker, and tape. Once you have gathered your materials, begin writing one sight word on each index card with the marker. The words should be written neatly to reduce confusion among students. After you have written the sight words on each index card, tape one index card on each circle of the game. When the student places their hand or food on a circle, they will say the word and use the word in a sentence. Other options for this tool include writing math problems on the index cards or review questions for an upcoming test. To make this tool even less expensive, you could use sidewalk chalk instead of the Twister game.
