Friday, July 3rd - 5:00pm - visit race cars and learn more at BA PD

Sunday, August 23rd 2:00pm -practice day

Monday, September 7th - RACE DAY
10:00 AM Races Start

The 2026 Bryn Athyn Soap Box Derby Race is a Bryn Athyn Police Department sponsored race. For 2026, we will be following the International Soap Box Derby rules and stock car kits.

We will have 8 community cars that the participating racers will be able to use.
Individual cars / racers will not be permitted to enter the race

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible to participate in this year’s race on September 7th 2026, you will have to meet the following requirements:

Be the age of 7 through 14 on September 1, 2026
Be a part of the Bryn Athyn Community through one of our schools, families, or Church organizations.

RACERS:

To participate in the 2026 races, please complete the checklist below:

*Complete by August 21st
*Please note, if you are not on this list, you will NOT be permitted to race on Sept. 7th

Sign & Complete Waiver on or before Sept. 7th Race.
Attend at least one practice day on

$20 registration fee per family

PARENTS:

Parents must sign up for one volunteer slot for day of racing , or be in charge of finding an alternate for that day.
