2025 Race Information

Welcome to the 2025 Bryn Athyn Soap Box Derby Competition! 

The 2025 Bryn Athyn Soap Box Derby Race is a Bryn Athyn Police Department sponsored race. For 2025, we will be following the International Soap Box Derby rules and stock car kits. 

• We will have 8 cars that the participating racers will be able to use. (See below)

• Individual cars / racers will not be permitted to enter the race

ELIGIBILITY:

We’re so happy you’ll be joining our new fleet of soap box cars for this racing season. To be eligible to participate in this year’s race on September 1st, 2025, you will have to meet the following requirements:

1. Be the age of 7 through 14 on September 1, 2025

2. Be a part of the Bryn Athyn Community through one of our schools, families, or Church organizations.

RACERS:

To participate in the 2025 races, please complete the checklist below:

1. Sign up on our Registration Form.*

*Complete by August 20th
*Please note, if you are not on this list, you will NOT be permitted to race on Sept. 1st

2. Sign & Complete Waiver on or before Sept. 1 Race. 

CAR ASSIGNMENTS:

All registered racers will receive a bib number, car assignment, and tentative race time.

SEPT 1, 2025 RACE SCHEDULE:

1:00PM - 2:00PM  | Rally Races. All registered racers will race against the clock. Times will be displayed on board.

2:00PM - 3:00PM | Heat Races. Top 10 times from rally races will compete for 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
