My experience at NuCraft Dental Arts introduced me to the digital workflow behind restorative and implant dentistry. I removed zirconia crowns from the mill, green-stated them before sintering, and assisted with the design of 3D-printed surgical guides.
I was the first faculty practice dental assistant to continue on as a Dental College of Georgia student. Working alongside faculty, I assisted with restorative, fixed, removable, implant, and surgical procedures and learned something different from every clinician I worked with. Building relationships and communicating with faculty has helped me grow throughout dental school.
