Marketing Process
As for Marketing, I was consistently working with the team running the Flagler College Theatre Arts Social Media Pages to ensure that Proof was being advertised. Our early rehearsal photos, later production photos, and even a trailer was made to show the production and the process behind it. As an additional opportunity for marketing, I went to speak to the Visual and Performing Arts Board about Proof and what my plan was for the production. I also was interviewed for Flagler College's “High Tide Talks” about my production and the process around it.
One opportunity I was incredibly grateful for was to go and speak with Professor Chris Smith’s Graphic Design Class about the poster for Proof. Professor Smith utilized my needs as a producer as an assignment for the students who were able to get real experience as if I were a professional client. I sat in the class, described what I needed, and the class spent the next few weeks designing a series of posters that I could pick from. In the end, Dakota Capolino designed our poster and social media graphic and I am incredibly grateful. Now that I had posters, I pasted them around St. Augustine and the Flagler College Campus.
