Dr. Reese is a native of Fort Valley, Georgia. At an early age, Dr. Reese decided that he would be an unconventional, revolutionary educator. Inspired by several teachers along his journey, Dr. Reese attended Georgia State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and a graduate-level certification in Political Science Education. Dr. Reese also holds a graduate-level certification in Educational Leadership, a master's degree in public policy/political science, and a doctorate of education in Healthcare Leadership. 

Dr. Reese's areas of expertise are the Sociology of Religion, Politics, Medical Sociology, Healthcare Analytics, Urban Education and Sociology, Pedagogy, and culturally responsive teaching.  

Dr. Reese is married to Quentin, a senior administrator in long-term adult care, and they reside in Henry County, Georgia.
