I am an Associate Professor at UNU-MERIT, Maastricht University. My research lies at the intersection of inequality, political behavior, and development. I study how economic shocks and inequality shape individual preferences, political behavior, and broader economic and social outcomes, with implications for public policy and inclusive development.
