Bread made here in our bakery, no artificial ingredients we even offer no gluten, vegan bread, beautiful red tomatoes, romaine lettuce, locally grown onions, peppers, cucumbers, chicken breast marinated over night for flavor and tenderness, peanut butter made here hand roasted then made a special way without salt, sugar, oil!!with our way you don’t need to add anything!! How do YOU want your lunch, vegetarian, vegan, chicken, ham, peanut butter jelly, no gluten!!
Quality does cost a little more, if that isn’t important to you… there are other choices elsewhere!! The cycle and hiking companies we support want only quality for their customers, if we can’t make it here, we won’t serve it!!

Super Frühstücksspot. Toller vibe und sehr freundliches Personal. Besonderes Highlight: The old American man! Sehr lustiger und herzlicher Typ! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

During my last visit here seven years ago, I frequented this restaurant multiple times and was delighted to return for dinner, given their extensive dinner options. Opting for the chili burger, I requested the chili on the side. The burger and the accompanying chili were generously portioned, so bring your appetite. However, the specialty brioche bun did thin out as I savored the meal. My partner opted for the curry soup and found it satisfying. The following day, we ordered their lunch to-go meals for 20000 COP, which provided ample sustenance for our hike in the Cócora valley. The restaurant's top-notch service was consistent throughout our visit.

El mejor sitio para ir a comer en salento, las hamburguesas son deliciosas y muy generosas, un plato fue suficiente para dos personas, el café es delicioso y los jugos son pura fruta muy refrescantes, las instalaciones son muy cómodas y excelente atención.

Best restaurant we visited in Salento. Great service, huge portions of delicious food, excellent coffee. We visited 3 times and had breakfast and dinner. The burrito was excellent and easily big enough for two people to share. The burgers were full of flavour and a solid meal for dinner. Granola was fresh and flavoursome. The veggie omelette was healthy and really good. The peanut butter chocolate brownie was everything we wanted it to be. And this was the first place in Colombia that allowed us to mix fruits in the juices - recommend the guanabana and guayaba combo. The house-made hot sauce was so good - what I wouldn't give to get that recipe! Thanks so much, keep up the great work...and let me know if you'll share that hot sauce recipe ;)

Probably the coolest spot we ate at in Salento. Some say a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for here. Large portions, great service, and many homemade ingredients. We had the omelette and blueberry pancakes. Both were fantastic. Try the Heinz 57 1/2 sauce. Free WiFi and great coffee with chill spots to read or get work done upstairs. Jeff is the owner and is very kind and witty. They also to to go lunches for hikes or bus rides.

We saw the reviews of the packed lunch so we decided to give it a try for our Cocora Valley hike. We were very disappointed with what we purchased—the ham sandwich was very soggy by the time we ate it (likely due to the tomato) and it was leaking everywhere. The PB&J sandwich has an insanely large amount of peanut butter and lacked jam, which made the sandwich inedible. We unfortunately disposed of most of the lunch.
The breakfast/brunch and coffees looked good, but I do not recommend the packed lunch.

This was a very good place to eat food at Salento, so much that we went 3 times! They have a service where you can buy a packed lunch for if you are hiking. The food was very tasty, the workers were kind, and the building was spacious. It even had a map that showed the hiking trails, the owner of the restaurant kindly showed us the route. This place was overall a very good place to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner! 😋🍽️

The food is really amazing. One of the best places I visited during all of my travels. Apart from the excellent food, the staff is more then friendly and give you a welcoming feeling. And to top it off, the prices are gratis for what you getting back!!

Wir waren morgens zum frühstücken hier. Bestellt haben wir beide die vegan / glutenfreien Pancakes. Leider haben die Pancakes uns nicht überzeugt. Geschmacklich waren sie zu trocken und leider von beiden Seiten verbrannt. Eigentlich wollten wir auch die veganen Waffeln bestellen, was uns allerdings ausgeredet wurde, da es wohl bis zu 40 Minuten dauern würde, diese zuzubereiten. Warum bietet man denn dann, so ein Gericht an?? Der Service und das Ambiente waren gut außer, dass die Erdnussbutter für die Pancakes vergessen wurde und erst später gebracht wurde. Schade aber beim nächsten Mal würden wir wahrscheinlich etwas anderes probieren.

Leaving this review specifically to alert all vegans that there is a large vegan ice cream menu here AND this incredible vegan gluten free (gf) peanut butter brownie. Several vegan options on the menu that were decent but the brownie really stole the show. It’s not very photogenic but wow it is delicious

Stopped here to get the packed lunch to go and it was great!! I got the smaller one and it was a lot of food for 20,000 COP (around $5). Two hours into our hike it was the perfect meal: water, chicken sandwich, banana with a bit of peanut butter, brownie, crackers, and granola. They even put a sweet little note in the bag

We eat here many times, always good! Great portion that keep you fueled during the hikes. Also really good service. The lunchpackages are great as well. Perfect for a long bus ride!

Excellent food and incredibly friendly and hospitable staff, who will take the time to give you an overview of the different activities and hiking routes around Salento (they have maps painted on their walls and use a laser pointer to talk you through it!). If you’re planning on doing day hikes they also sell lunch packs for 20K to save you the hassle of packing your own lunch!
