Teams begin to play matches at under 7’s (school year 2), most have already been playing a while through our academy which has enabled the children to play and learn a little about the game before the leagues form.
We try and keep our squad sizes small to ensure that all children get good playing time.
Under 7’s to U8’s, teams play 5 a side football.
U9s to U10’s teams play 7 a side.
U11’s to U12’s teams are 9 as side.
Then 13’s upwards teams play 11 a side football so squad sizes increase proportionally.
