Lab Overview
Why is there a matter-antimatter asymmetry to the universe? Could the neutrino be its own antiparticle? What is the nature of dark matter? In this lab we look for the answers to the universe's greatest secrets using a hammer and screwdriver. Our lab falls under the subfield of experimental particle astrophysics where we specialize in rare event detection.
The goal of this lab is to provide students with a wide skillset that will allow them to be marketable in any route that they choose to pursue while producing impactful science. Our group members have gone on to be successful in a variety of career paths including teaching, data science, accelerator technology, graduate school, and various engineering industry positions.
