The products listed below have been found to be compliant with Brown's Healthy Building Standards, with the products at the top meeting Brown's Preferred Targets and all products at a minimum meeting Brown's Baseline Requirements. These lists are continuously added to as research is aggregated with each project and the market for healthy materials continues to grow.
Brown's flooring requirements apply to all types of Resilient Flooring, including Linoleum, Rubber, Polyurethane (PU), 'PVC-Free' Biobased, and Vinyl (although it should be explicitly noted that any product containing PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) will not be compliant with Brown's requirements.
In terms of material-health compliance, resilient flooring products are often defined by what manufacturers refer to as "product platforms", which may include multiple styles, collections, or variations of a given product line. If the style or collection you are considering is not listed under the 'Product Lines' field, it should be assumed that the given style is not compliant.
