Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo that is done with a disposable handheld tool called a microblade. This technique creates individual hair strokes that will blend with the natural hairline. The results is to mimic each individual hair to match the color and coarseness of the eyebrows. This is recommended for individuals with normal or non-oily skins. Microblading usually lasts from 6 months-1 year.
Powder ombré is a semi-permanent tattoo that is done with a PMU machine. This technique creates an ombré effect, the tails of the brows are darker and gradually gets lighter towards the beginning of the brows. This is recommended for individuals with normal skin, non-oily skin, oily skin, mature skin, and especially for those wanting an everyday soft makeup look. Powder ombré brows usually last from 1-2 years.

Hair-like strokes in the front followed by some light shading and gradually gets darker towards the tail of the brows. A full, soft makeup look.

No hair-like strokes. Only shading throughout the brows; it is dark at the tail and gradually gets lighter towards the front. More of a makeup look.

Please consult with specialist prior to booking if you have any concerns, previous permanent makeup, medical condition(s) and/or are currently on any medication(s). Please avoid selecting dates around your menstrual cycle due to an increase in hormones and sensitivity to pain. Procedure cannot be perform on anyone that is pregnant or breast feeding/nursing.
| CONSULTATION |
Specialist will touch base with the client a few days before the intended appointment date for a virtual consultation. During this time, the specialist will determine if the client is a good candidate for the procedure. If client is eligible, the specialist will ask for a preference of brow style, how they usually draw in their brows with make-up, and lastly, capture some pictures of their natural brows without makeup. Medical history, disclosure & consent, and the release of photographs forms will be sent via email for clients to read thoroughly and must be filled out before the appointment day.
| APPOINTMENT DAY |
Specialist will inform client of possible risks associated with the procedure and go over the disclosure forms. Client must approve the shape, color and thickness of the brows mapped on them. All questions and concerns will be answered before proceeding with the procedure. Once the procedure is done, it will be revealed to the client and if there is any adjustment needed to be done, the client must voice it before going home. When client is finally satisfied with the results, specialist will provide the after care instructions for the client to follow in order to achieve the best healing results.
| 4-8 WEEKS TOUCH UP |
A scheduled 4-8 weeks session is required from the initial procedure to touch up any imperfection. This is the time when the client can let the specialist know what is missing and what needs to be fixed. This session is only valid when the initial procedure is done by Brow Affair.
| YEARLY TOUCHUP |
The yearly touch up is recommended but not required. Over a period of time, pigments are bound to fade so it is solely based on the clients discretion if they want to come yearly or bi-yearly for fresh brows.

| DAY 1-7 |
About 1-2 hours after the procedure, pat gently to clean off the Pigment Sealer with wipes.
Use a dry, clean tissue to absorb any excess lymphs fluid. This is to keep the fluid from drying to a scab. (Harden scabs may remove patches of pigment.)
Apply a very THIN layer of after care gel with a Q-tip to the eyebrows.
Repeat cleaning and reapplying after care gel every 2-3 hours to keep the lymphs from building up.
WASH:
Wash the eyebrows every morning and night with a gentle soap, Cetaphil, unscented cleanser or baby shampoo. This will remove bacteria, build up of products, oils, and dead skin cells.
Wash hands and use fingertips to gently cleanse the eyebrows in a circular motion for 10 seconds.
Rinse the eyebrows with water to ensure that all the soap is rinsed off.
To dry, pat gently with a clean tissue.
DO NOT use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or exfoliants.
MOISTURIZE & HYDRATE:
Apply a very THIN, rice grain amount of after care gel with a Q-tips to the eyebrows.
DO NOT over-apply the gel, this will suffocate the skin and delay the healing.
DO NOT apply gel on wet eyebrows; make sure to dry first.
***Use the shower visor during the shower to keep the eyebrows from being drenched.

***For oily skin, clean only. This is considered “dry healing”. Do not apply any ointments to the eyebrows; this will help the skin retain the pigment better.
Healing is a process that takes time. Some skin will heal faster than others, some skin will retain pigment longer, everyone is different. Skin care, lifestyle, and following aftercare instructions will determine your healed results. Do not pick at scabs, tug, or itch the brows; this will cause scarring or loss of pigment retentions. Let it fall off naturally. Please do not rush the healing and trust the process.
