If you’ve already set up your Brother Printer Drivers before but are now moving to a new Windows PC or Mac, you’ll need to install the drivers again so your printer can work properly. The process is simple and takes only a few minutes.
Go to the official Brother downloads page:
https://www.Brother Printer Drivers/support
Type your printer model (like DCP-T420W, HL-L2350DW, MFC-J1010DW) in the search bar and select it from the list.
If you’re unsure about the model number, check the front or back label on the printer.
Once you are on your printer’s support page:
Select your operating system (Windows/macOS).
Click Full Driver & Software Package.
Hit Download.
After the file downloads:
Windows: open the .exe file
Mac: open the .dmg file
Depending on your connection type:
Wi-Fi: Make sure your printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
USB: Plug in the cable only when the installer asks you to.
Once installation completes, the setup wizard will confirm everything is ready.
Print a test page to ensure your printer is working correctly.
