For those starting a new business, here’s what I tell you

Taste is basic, but do not obsess only over taste.
Customers remember not just the flavor, but the experience and emotion they had.
What you think is “service” is not truly service.
Basic kindness is expected. Unexpected care beyond expectations is what becomes brand value.
Your restaurant identity must be clear and justified.
If you can’t explain who you serve and what experience you provide, then you have no reason to exist.
Design a clear reason for customers to return.
Advertising brings the first visit. A brand brings the second.
Do not outsource all marketing.
The person who understands the message best is the owner.
Real sincerity reaches customers only when you participate directly.
