My name is Cyndi Warwick, and I am the new head varsity coach at Broomfield. I am super excited to take over this program and hit the ground running to get this program back to the top of 5A.
I was the assistant varsity coach at Standley Lake for the last 4 seasons. We went from a team that just missed regionals my first year to qualifying for state this year for the first time in 30 years, which was super exciting. My daughter was a senior, so I knew that when she graduated, I wanted to eventually take my own program. I saw the opening at Broomfield, so I applied, and they believed in me to turn this program around.
Jenna and I coached a 13-2 team at Rocky Elite and took the team from 55th place to 22nd, qualifying for ZBT and beating our 1’s team there. We are planning on coaching a national team at Rocky next year, hopefully. Before coaching at Standley, I coached at Apex recreation district, running all of their volleyball skills and drills, and multiple CARA teams. I was born and raised in Westminster and am a Westy graduate. I played Division 2 volleyball at Chadron State and was a 6-rotation outside. I attended the CU School of Pharmacy, where I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy, and I currently work as a pharmacist at Chinook Pharmacy in Louisville.
I have been married to my husband, Jason, for 20 years. We have a 21-year-old son, Colter, who is a deputy sheriff in Weld County. Colter just got married to my daughter-in-law, Jacey, who is in the police academy in Lafayette. We have a daughter, Jenna, who is 17 and graduated from Standley Lake in 2026. Jenna has played volleyball since she was about 9 and just finished her last club season with Rocky Elite 18-national. She had multiple offers to play in college, but she has decided to stay home and continue her coaching career, which I am super excited about.
