Point Opportunities/Requirements


Points Requirements

The point requirement will be 25 points for the entire year.


  • 25 Points for the WHOLE YEAR

  • SENIORS and JUNIORS INTERESTED IN FUTURE OFFICER POSITIONS:

      • Must participate in Spring School-Wide Event (to be determined)

      • If the previous requirements are not met, a cord WILL NOT be awarded nor will juniors be eligible for an officer position in the following school year.

    • ALL MEMBERS must attend at least two monthly meetings per semester.

    • Fill out Google Form to document all point opportunities


Rho Kappa point requirements will be due TBD.

POINT OPPORTUNITIES

  • Induction Night (1 point): October 5

  • Monthly Meetings (1 point): MUST ATTEND AT LEAST ONE EVERY SEMESTER

  • Trivia Night (3-5 points): October 19 & November 16

  • Volunteer as a Poll Worker (7 points)

  • Phonebanking/Textbanking (1 pt per 5 calls OR 1 pt per 5,000 texts)

  • Club Olympics (4 points): TBD

  • Virtual Museum Tour (1 point max): find an online museum, pick a historical artifact which interests you and write a 1-page double spaced analysis or a 1-minute video or Tiktok to discuss this topic

  • Historical Movie Analysis (1 point, max 2): watch a historical movie and provide a 1-page double spaced analysis on how historically accurate it was/ discuss what you found interesting

  • Nonfiction Social Studies Book Review (1 point, max 2): provide a 1-page double spaced analysis and review

  • First Responders (Firefighters, Police Officers, etc.) Volunteering (Click below to sign up!)

  • Spring Semester School-Wide Event (TBD)
