We emphasize five areas of community service: Business & Professions, Citizenship & Patriotism, Environment, Public Service, and Social Development.
The Rising Senior program consists of inviting juniors from the local high school to write a letter explaining why the want to be a Rising Senior. The club chooses from the applications and those student become Rising Seniors during their senior year in high school. The club pays their dues during the year and awards the students a $500 scholarship at the end of the year. In order to receive the scholarship, each Rising Senior needs to attend six meetings and work 20 community service hours during the year.
