Question 1: What are the one or two most critical issues in your precinct and/or the town and how would you address them?
Town: getting the budget under control. As Advisory Committee Chair I have tried to bring greater transparency and longer-term consideration to the budget review process. Precinct 3: pedestrian and bicycle safety; we must work with the Transportation Department to improve safety especially at certain intersections.
Question 2: Biographical data
30+ year resident of Brookline. Chair of Advisory Committee (2021- present; member for 7 years; previously Chair of Administration & Finance Subcommittee; member of Schools Subcommittee).MIT graduate. Married, two children, both attended Lawrence Elementary and BHS. Active participant in task forces investigating and setting policies for: Virtual Town Meeting, Electronic Document Distribution, Sidewalk Safety, Pay-As-You-Throw, and Leaf Blower usage. Developed analytical tools used to help with school enrollment analysis and site option selection. Active for years in Lawrence School PTO including as director of annual fundraiser. Technology professional.
