(LWVB Questionnaire) What three issues are most important to your constituents, and how would you address and/or resolve them?
1) Like most BPS parents I have become deeply frustrated by the budget issues eroding the quality of our schools. If elected, I would push for all means of funding the public schools, and ensuring they remain a national beacon of excellence.
2) It is clear to me that Brookline needs more housing and commercial development. Our town is facing too many intractable financial, infrastructural, and educational problems that cannot be solved unless we find meaningful ways to increase our tax base and commercial revenues.
3) Finally, I believe safe and accessible means of transportation are inextricably linked with education and housing policy. I will work towards make our roads safer and more accessible for cars, cyclists, and pedestrians alike.
Biographical Data: I have been a Brookline resident since 2017, a PSB parent since 2018, and a Brookline homeowner since 2022. I've spent most of my adult life working directly in Democratic politics and government. From 2011-2015, I worked in the Obama White House on technology policy issues.
I had the privilege of being caucused in as a Pct. 3 Town Meeting Member in the fall of 2025, and I am now running for a full 3-year term. I am excited for the opportunity to continue representing the interests of Precinct 3 residents and their wide range of perspectives.
