SUNY Stony Brook's Unofficial Furry Club
What is Brook Furs?
The Stony Brook Anthro Society (aka. Brook Furs) is a club that creates a safe space for those who are (or interested in) the furry fandom; both as a space to connect and participate in the hobby through various creative mediums, fursuiting, community service and discussing furry media. Through the sustained efforts of the club, Brook Furs aims to help furries at Stony Brook create friendships and community throughout their time through and beyond their time at school.
How can I join?
Brook Furs is open to all Stony Brook AND Suffolk Community College students and alumni who are furries, or are curious about becoming one! All you need to bring are good vibes. You can find more information about our in-person meetings on our discord page.

Meet The Team
Rafael is an undergraduate student studying Electrical Engineering. He composes music using BandLab and Ableton, as it came to him through making video games with his friends. His passion for engineering stems from his love of embedded circuitry and 3D printing, which he hopes to apply to rehabilitation engineering through the development of prosthetics and economically accessible, accessible technology.
Kyle is an undergraduate student studying Electrical Engineering. In his free time he enjoys gaming and going on hikes. Kale enjoys making little cute projects and drawing on paper. Outside of school he works as an avionics tech, and wants to pursue a career in aviation.
Clara is an undergraduate student studying Biology, aiming to specialize in Ecology and Evolution. Her hobbies include drawing, gaming, Dungeons and Dragons, birdwatching, and playing guitar and piano. She is fascinated by plants, animals, and all things nature, which is why she is (most likely) going to pursue a career in research science, hoping to further our understanding of the natural world.
Rhea is a graduate student in the school of Pharmacology. In the lab, she investigates questions regarding molecular mechanisms in developmental biology. In her free time, she loves to travel, draw, work on cosplay projects, and play videogames.
Ryan is a student (maybe).
