About me

My name is Brooke Lancaster. I am a graduate of Western Michigan University. I have always had a passion for literature and learning about different stories and legends. One of the things that I love best about learning about these thins is I then hear easter eggs within songs or I get to hear entire musicals about these stories and I think that is so cool! This is something that I want to share with my students, I want them to come to me one day and excitedly say that they heard a song that made reference to something that we read about in class. Stories have a way of connecting us to one another and allows us to relate to one another. In my class I want everyone to feel welcome and safe and I will strive every day to ensure that that happens.
