This Privacy Policy explains how Broken Screen Wallpaper (package name omarapps22.broken.screen.wallpaper), provided by lion apps, handles information when you use the app.
Contact: saif1212kr@gmail.com
Broken Screen Wallpaper does not require an account. Photos you choose for wallpaper tools are processed on your device and are not uploaded by us to Firebase. The app uses HTTPS internet services to download wallpaper and sound content, Cloud Firestore for content and aggregate popularity features, and Google Mobile Ads/UMP for advertising and consent choices.
When Firebase features are enabled, the app may send the following to Cloud Firestore:
wallpaper, effect, or filter identifiers and related content URLs;
aggregate events such as setting a wallpaper, applying an effect, or liking a wallpaper;
timestamps and aggregate counters; and
a randomly generated installation identifier used as the document ID for a wallpaper like.
This random identifier is created by the app and stored in device-local preferences that the app excludes from Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. Pending popularity events are excluded too. The identifier is not your name, email address, Android ID, or advertising ID. The app does not create a user profile or account from this information.
Only validated HTTPS content references can enter the Firestore popularity queue. Local file paths, content-provider paths, and media generated from a photo you selected remain local and are not added to that queue.
If you choose a photo through Android's document picker, the app accesses only the item you selected. The photo is processed locally for filters, previews, video effects, or wallpapers. Generated wallpapers and videos may be stored in the app's private cache or saved to the public Pictures/Movies folders when you request it. We do not upload your selected photo to Firebase.
Favorites, sort choices, notification choices, privacy-screen style choices, other tool settings, cached popularity values, and generated media may be stored on your device. They usually remain until you clear the app's data or uninstall it. Android may back up eligible app preferences according to your device and Google backup settings. The app excludes its installation identifier, pending Firestore event queues, selected custom media, WorkManager data, disposable Firebase service metadata, and the active privacy-screen session from cloud backup and device transfer. Favorites and privacy-screen visual preferences remain eligible so they can be restored where Android supports that feature, but a restored preference never activates an overlay by itself.
If you choose to send feedback, the app opens an email app selected by you. The draft includes your message, app version, Android version, and device manufacturer/model to help us investigate the issue. The email is sent only after you choose to send it. Your email provider and our email provider process that message under their own privacy terms.
When the app downloads remote wallpaper, preview, effect, or sound files, the hosting provider receives standard network information needed to deliver the file, such as an IP address, request time, and user-agent or connection information. Current content can be delivered from mobeasy.com hosts and Google Drive URLs. Their data practices are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display ads and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage consent where required. Depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and ad configuration, Google may collect or share:
IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
app launches, taps, video views, and other user-product interactions;
diagnostic and performance information; and
advertising ID, app set ID, or other device/account identifiers.
Google states that this information is used for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention and is encrypted in transit. You can reset or delete the Android advertising ID in device settings. Where UMP requires it, the app provides a Privacy choices control so you can revisit available consent options.

The app uses Cloud Firestore to retrieve wallpaper catalogs, drops, trusted effect metadata, and popularity information, and to synchronize the limited aggregate events described above. Client writes are limited to validated identifiers, server timestamps, and bounded non-decreasing counter changes; content catalogs are read-only to the app. Firebase may process service and request metadata necessary to provide and secure the service. Firebase App Check with Play Integrity may process an app-integrity token to help verify that requests come from the genuine app.

The app does not include Firebase Analytics, Firebase Storage, Flurry Analytics, Facebook login, or an in-app account system.
The app may use the following permissions or system features:
Set wallpaper: to apply a wallpaper you select to the home screen, lock screen, or both.
Internet and network state: to retrieve content, use Firebase, and load ads.
Notifications (optional): for new wallpaper alerts, reminders you enable, download/status information, and a visible stop control while an optional effect is active.
Display over other apps (optional special access): used only when you deliberately start a broken-screen effect or the Privacy Screen tool. Privacy Screen draws an adjustable, app-owned visual mask; it does not read, capture, record, blur, analyze, or store pixels from the app underneath it. Its normal full-screen mask passes touches through to the app below. Only its small edge panel and two bounded corner handles accept touches; the handles are shown by default for adjustment and can be hidden from the panel. Emergency blackout intentionally blocks touches and keeps the stop control above it. The app explains the access before opening Android Settings. You can stop an active tool from its visible controls, its ongoing notification when notifications are allowed, or by revoking this access in Android Settings. Broken-screen effects remain time-limited. Privacy Screen ends when its selected timer expires, when you stop it, when overlay access is revoked, or when Android stops the service.
Foreground service: keeps a user-started overlay perceptible and immediately controllable while it is active. Privacy Screen uses the manifest-declared FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE permission and the dedicated specialUse foreground-service type; this is a normal manifest permission, not a separate runtime prompt. It provides an ongoing notification plus a small on-screen stop control. The service is started only after the user activates Privacy Screen, is not started at device boot, and runs only for the active session.
Optional motion sensor: if you enable tilt/automatic blackout, the app may read the accelerometer locally while Privacy Screen is active. Samples are used only to switch the local visual state, are not stored, and are not sent to Firebase or ad providers. No runtime sensor permission is requested.
Vibration: for effects and optional entertainment tools when enabled.
Storage on Android 9 and earlier: used only to save media when required by those older Android versions. Newer versions use Android's scoped media APIs.
Advertising ID: may be used by Google Mobile Ads as described above.
The app does not request contacts, call logs, precise or coarse location, camera, microphone, broad photo-library access, Accessibility Service access, Usage Access, MediaProjection/screen-capture permission, or an accessibility/usage-monitoring service for Privacy Screen. The visual mask is not a hardware privacy filter: secure apps may hide overlays, and screenshots or casting may not be protected.
Information is used to:
provide, download, preview, save, and apply wallpapers;
remember your choices and favorites;
order content using aggregate popularity;
operate optional tools you select;
deliver and measure advertising, manage consent, and prevent fraud;
diagnose feedback that you choose to email; and
maintain security and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your selected photos or feedback. We do not use your selected photos to train AI models.
Information may be processed by service providers only as needed to provide their services, including Google (AdMob, UMP, Firebase, Play Integrity, and Google Play services), remote content hosts, and email providers when you send feedback. Information may also be disclosed if required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable law.
Local app data can be removed by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it. Media you separately saved to Pictures or Movies must be deleted using your gallery or file manager.
Aggregate Firestore counters and anonymous like records may be retained to preserve popularity totals and service integrity. Because there is no account and the installation identifier is not associated with your contact details, we may not be able to identify a particular record as yours.
Feedback emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Google and other service providers apply their own retention policies to information they process.
You may contact us at saif1212kr@gmail.com with a privacy question or request. We may need enough information to verify and locate the relevant data, and some aggregate or legally required records may not be removable.
Network connections to Firebase, Google Mobile Ads, and supported content URLs use HTTPS/TLS, and the Android app rejects clear-text network traffic. Firestore Security Rules validate document shapes, identifiers, timestamps, immutable content references, and bounded counter changes. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure.
The app is not designed specifically for children and does not knowingly request a child's name, contact list, precise location, photo library, or account information. Parents and guardians should supervise use of optional entertainment, sound, advertising, and overlay features. If you believe a child has sent personal information through feedback email, contact us so we can review the request.
Service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their processing is subject to their privacy terms and applicable safeguards.
We may update this policy when the app, service providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the date at the top and publish the revised policy at:
