Privacy Policy – Broken Screen: Touch Prank 4K

This Privacy Policy explains how Broken Screen, Touch Prank 4K (“the App”, “we”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information. By installing or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1) What the App Does
Provides ultra-realistic broken screen prank effects (touch or shake), including live/animated cracks, flicker, and LCD/green-line glitches.
Offers a curated hub of wallpapers (e.g., broken screen themes, AMOLED black, cars, nature) that you can apply or download.
Includes a Prank Sounds section (e.g., hair clipper, sirens, taser, etc.) with an optional timer for sound playback.
Displays advertising via Google AdMob and may use consent tools where required.
2) Information We Collect
We do not create user accounts and do not ask you to submit your name, email, photos, or other direct identifiers. Certain information may be processed automatically by our service providers for ads, analytics, app functionality, security, and fraud prevention.
A) Non-Personal/Technical Data (processed by providers)
Device information (model, OS version), app version, language, approximate region inferred from IP.
Ad delivery and measurement data (e.g., impressions, clicks, errors), diagnostics/crash logs, basic interaction events.
Purposes: analytics, app performance, ad delivery/measurement, abuse prevention.
B) Personal Data
We do not directly collect personal data such as your name or email. Our advertising/analytics partners may process identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID (AAID) for ad personalization/measurement and frequency capping. We do not collect precise location.
3) Permissions We Use & Why
We request only what is needed for features, and you can allow/deny or revoke from system settings at any time.
Draw over other apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW)
Purpose: required to show the broken screen prank overlay when you activate it.
Note: We do not record your screen, keys, or on-screen content; the effect is purely visual.
Post Notifications (Android 13+)
Purpose: to display a persistent notification so you can stop the prank overlay and return to the app easily.
Foreground Service
Purpose: to keep the visual overlay active while showing the required system notification.
Sensors (Accelerometer)
Purpose: optional shake-to-break activation. Processed on-device; we do not store raw sensor data.
Internet/Network (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE)
Purpose: load and show ads, fetch remote content as needed.
Vibration (VIBRATE) (if enabled in your build)
Purpose: add realistic haptic feedback for certain prank sounds/effects.
We do not use camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, call logs, or precise location.
4) Third-Party Services (Processors)
We rely on reputable providers to deliver ads, measure performance, and manage consent. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies:

These partners may combine data from our App with information from other apps and services as permitted by their policies and your device/account settings.
5) Advertising & AdMob Policy Notes
The App shows advertising via Google AdMob (e.g., banner, interstitial, app-open).
In regions where required (e.g., EEA/UK), we present a consent form (Google UMP) and honor your choices for ad personalization and analytics.
You can limit personalized ads at the device level (Android Settings → Google → Ads or your device’s equivalent) and via your Google Ad Settings.
We do not engage in deceptive behavior or prohibited content and follow AdMob policies regarding invalid activity, restricted content, and family policies.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not request or store precise location.
6) Legal Bases & Regional Rights
GDPR/EEA/UK: Where applicable, processing for personalized ads/analytics relies on consent (collected via UMP). For strictly necessary processing (e.g., security, fraud prevention, non-personalized ads), we rely on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent via the consent dialog when shown.
California (CCPA/CPRA): You can opt-out of personalized advertising via device settings and Google Ad Settings. We do not “sell” personal information as defined by CPRA.
Other Regions: We follow applicable local laws and platform rules.
7) Data Retention & Deletion
We do not store user-identifying data on our own servers.
Our providers retain advertising and analytics data per their policies.
Your controls:
Reset the Advertising ID (AAID) or limit ad personalization in device settings.

8) Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect data.
9) Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10) Your Choices & Controls
Start/stop the prank overlay from the in-app controls or persistent notification.
Revoke Draw over other apps permission from system settings at any time.
Manage Notifications from system settings.
Reset your Advertising ID and/or limit ad personalization in device settings.
Manage consent preferences where the UMP consent form is presented (EEA/UK).
11) International Transfers
Service providers may process data on servers located in various countries. We rely on the safeguards and compliance frameworks provided by those processors consistent with applicable data-protection laws.
12) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective Date” above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
