Apply for Financial Aid with FAFSA. The application opens each year in October.

Seniors in high school
Freshman, sophomores, and juniors in college.
File every year for the following school year!
Create an FSA ID for you and a parent. This takes a few days to clear. You only need to do this once your senior year of high school. Save the password!
Gather tax information you will need from you and your parent(s):
Previous year tax return documents: 1040, W2(s)
Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and include schools you are applying to.
Receive your Student Aid Report (SAR).
Receive financial aid packages from each school you apply to.
This is just step one in the financial aid process. Make sure you apply for scholarships too!
