Ratified by the Brock Univeristy Students’ Union, Brock Musical Theatre is a community theatre company that was established to provide students at Brock University with opportunities to participate in the creation of Broadway style musical theatre productions. The organization also functions as a club and allows students across all programs at Brock to network with like-minded creatives while striving toward a common goal.

Mission Statement
Brock Musical Theatre is a BUSU ratified student led organization dedicated to bringing arts and culture to the Brock University community through events and an annual full scale musical production. BMT aims to constantly grow and provide opportunities for students to experience a professional production process as actors, creatives, or producers, and engage local businesses and theatre groups in a collaborative process. BMT welcomes diverse performers and all elements of musical theatre to foster talent and inspire creativity.

Kian Diab, Vice President and Financial Manager
Kian is a BBA Double Degree student, travelling to France for an exchange for two school years. Kian has been involved with BMT for the past two years, directing Little Women and playing Bobby/Rudy in Cabaret. Kian has also been an executive team member of the IPBS club for the past year.
Brooke Lavery, Secretary
Brooke is a third year Concurrent Education Student and has been involved with BMT for the past two years. She has been an assistant stage manager for the productions of Little Women, and Cabaret. Brooke is also an RED Don at Brock Univeristy this year, and has been an RLS Don for the past year.
Megan Brady, Head of Social Media and Marketing Coordinator
Megan is a second year Concurrent Education student with a teachable in Dramatic Arts. Megan has been involved with BMT for the production of Cabaret, playing Helga and taking on the role as Dance Captain. Megan is also a Brock Cheerleader and has been a competitive cheerleader for 10 years.
Cameron Playter, Event Coordinator
Cameron is a second year Sport Management student and a member of the Law Plus Program. Cameron has been involved with BMT for the production of Cabaret, playing Ernst Ludwig/Hans. As well as theatre, he has a strong interest in sports, including hockey, soccer, and baseball.
Sidd Goyal, Community Coordinator
Sidd is a second year student in the Public Health AIM program. Sidd was the vocal director for BMT's 2023 production of Cabaret, and enjoys singing, songwriting and playing piano in his spare time. When not creating music, he can often be found binge-watching shows or playing video games.
