Auditions: ANNIE, JR.

Auditions will take place during your first class on August 25 or 26. There will be a singing, acting, and dance audition. You are not required to memorize the song/scenes, but you are welcome to do so. There will be extra copies of music and scenes available in class. 

*Students: You will not be able to access files in Google Drive if you're signed into your school account.*

Vocal Audition: 

What you need to know:

• We will review "You're Never Fully Dressed" as a group, during your first class.

• A piano accompanist will play for your audition. 

• Everyone will be asked to sing "You're Never Fully Dressed." 

• SOME STUDENTS will also be asked to sing "Tomorrow."

• You are not required to memorize your song (you can hold your music if you prefer).

• What we are looking/listening for: vocal range, vocal quality, voice type, acting while singing. 

• If you are not comfortable singing your audition alone, you don't have to! Please know that we will take that to mean you aren't ready to sing a solo in front of an audience, so we will not cast you as a character that sings a solo in the play.

• Read the "Acting Audition Information" document and follow the instructions.

Dance Audition:

• You will have a chance to review the dance several times during your first class. Then you'll be asked to perform the dance in small groups.
