The donation started when Broadview pledged to donate $125 for every point the Bills scored in the AFC wild-card round. Therefore, the credit union was scheduled to donate $4,250 after the Bills' 34-31 win on Jan. 15.

It was the third year of Broadview's Bills-related donation. However, it was the first year under the Broadview banner, as the credit union was created when SEFCU and CAP COM merged last year.
