With greatest care, I continue to strive to make connections with my students to understand and activate their learning. I will continue to work to create a safe space for all student learners and meet their foundational needs. I look forward to continuing to integrate mindfulness and self-care tactics into the class.
By continuing care for myself as well as continuing education credits, I hope to achieve a great sense of foundational teaching. I will be able to best achieve these aspirations by continuously collaborating with my fellow colleagues as well as surrounding myself with professionals whom deeply care for our student body.

Developed, integrated, and achieved distinguished student performance measures through an action plan to increase family communication in the second marking period. Email blasts were sent to families notifying them of current studies in the classroom as well as upcoming assessments. Resources were also attached to the email blast to help parents engage in preparing students for assessments.
Achievement was measured through mastery on an assessment in marking period two or 6% growth on a local assessment measure. 95% of the fall semester population of students were able to demonstrate mastery or growth on local assessments through the extended support of family communication.
