In order to become an Officer you must attend Officer training within the British Army, or you can buy an officer rank.
How to become a General Staff?
To become a General Staff you can apply for a General Staff position or get appointed by a Commanding Officer or HQ
How to rank up?
To rank up within the British Army, you could attend a British Army wide training that is hosted by ETS or be active within a regiment.
How to become Headquarters?
HQ is handpicked by ACGS+ but you could attempt to reach it with activity in your regiment as a CO or any rank.

What is the Chain of Command?
The Chain of Command within the British Army is important as it provides personnel with intel on who to contact, the chain of command can be used for anything from problems, questions and even something like a suggestion. An example of how you would use the chain of command is when you have a question, you would first go to someone the same rank as you about it. You must wait 24hrs for a response.
