We currently have online meetings (Zoom) on the first Thursday of the month at 6.00 pm.
Please email bristolvhsg@gmail.com to be sent an invitation.
The next meeting will be on Thursday October 2nd 2025 at 6.00 pm.
Please note, this year, there will not be a meeting in September 2025 (apologies for this)
The purpose of all meetings, both online and face to face, is for group support only.
We would not want to raise expectations about what we can realistically offer.
None of us are medically trained, or trained in counselling, and we certainly do not know all the answers.
Although sometimes we can share some useful practical tips and other information, the main purpose of the meeting is so that members of the group might feel less isolated if they are able to meet women who suffer the same or similar vulval conditions.
The group is organised by volunteers who have their own lived experience of managing vulval health issues so there is no judgement and you don't have to talk if you don't want to. Everything said in the meeting is confidential. We know how daunting it can be just to turn up, let alone talk about these things. Typically about four or five women attend.
If you're struggling, we want you to know that you are not alone.
Our group is made up of women from a range of backgrounds and ages. You may have been managing a condition for decades or you may have only recently begun having difficulties: everyone is welcome.
If you are under 18 you are also welcome but please bring a supportive friend or adult.
Location: Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, Queens Rd, Bristol, BS8 1RL. Please see map below. On arrival at the museum, look out for volunteers at the doorway - they may ask "are you here for the meeting?" They won't ask you about your vulva in public!
Dates: Meetings are held on the third Saturday of every month.
Travel: There's an NCP car park at 25 Berkeley Pl, Bristol, BS8 1EH; it's a 5 min walk.
