Shannon is a full-time working mom to one child, who will be entering 2nd grade this fall. She enjoys volunteering with the PTA whenever she can, especially during evenings, weekends, and the occasional flexible weekday. This will be her second year helping coordinate the Silent Auction, and she loves bringing people together to support Brimhall. Shannon believes that strong connections between families, teachers, and staff create a welcoming, supportive school community. If you see her at Friendship Connection in the morning or Parent Pick-Up after school, you might spot a pair of earrings from her favorite local jeweler—if you know, you know!

With 2 kids at Brimhall, Alaina is excited to start her first year on the PTA board after spending time volunteering at Brimhall events and in the library. A former book publishing professional turned freelance editor, she also enjoys gardening, crocheting, and reading in her spare time.

Kelsey is a proud Brimhall parent with one child at the school who enjoys supporting the PTA in ways that fit a busy schedule. She believes in building a strong, inclusive school community where students, teachers, and families feel supported. Whether she's volunteering for a major event or lending a hand with smaller, flexible tasks throughout the year, Kelsey is always happy to help. And if you ever need a sweet treat, there's a good chance she has candy in her car—no matter the time of day!

She’s a parent of a 6th grader and 8th grader who first joined the PTA through the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and now serves as Brimhall’s treasurer for a third year. She values making the school a welcoming place for all students and families and enjoys bringing a DEI lens to every part of the PTA’s work. When not helping with school activities and events, you can find her cheering at her kids’ basketball and baseball games, camping with her family, fangirling over her musician partner, hanging upside down in an aerial hammock, working at a local allergy clinic, or contributing to district equity committees.

eL is a parent of four kids in 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 11th grade. Being part of the PTA matters to them because they want their kids to grow up surrounded by a community that’s diverse, supportive, and loving. They pitch in whenever they can, on evenings, weekends, or during school breaks when life feels a little less hectic. Cold brew is their co-pilot—they run on caffeine, laughter, and the occasional stolen moment of quiet in between activities. They’re especially grateful for a supportive spouse who helps keep everything balanced so they can stay involved. For them, PTA is all about showing up, building connections, and creating the kind of school community where all kids can thrive.

She’s a proud Brimhall staff member and parent of a 6th grader and 4th grader. Fostering a school community that is safe, joyful, and aligned with Roseville Area Schools’ Equity Vision guides her work both in the classroom and as a parent.
Brimhall has been her home for 18 years—11 years as a 3rd grade teacher and 6 years as Lead Teacher and Interventionist, currently serving the community as the SEL specialist. She first connected with the PTA through the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion group, and joined the PTA Board 3 years ago to help strengthen the connection between staff and families. She has loved building relationships with more community members and seeing firsthand the amazing impact of the PTA and its volunteers.
Outside of school, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family, experimenting in the kitchen with new ingredients, tending to her collection of houseplants, reviving her concert-going spirit by staying out past 10, and spending time with her two kids.
