Rutgers University class of 2017 mechanical engineering graduate and current Design Engineer, Temi always had a knack for numbers and calculations. He was an honors math student throughout middle and high school. Think of honors math like a fast-track curriculum in middle school, and more rigorous curriculum in high school. In middle school, Temi learned 7th grade math in 6th grade, 8th grade math in 7th grade, and 9th grade math in 8th grade. During his high school years, he was taught math at a level one step higher than his peers.
Fully embracing his gift for math, Temi pursued a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the State University of New Jersey -- Rutgers. During his undergraduate career, he cruised through an additional 5 Calculus courses where he exercised his critical thinking skills at a higher level.
Upon graduation, Temi embarked on a new journey as an Entry Level Engineer for a collabration & telecommunications company. In this role, he used math daily, and found himself creating formulas to simplify his tasks. This led him to use his mathematical knowledge for the benefit of those who desire aid. Thus giivng birth to Brilliance Math Tutoring -- a space where struggling students are equipped with confidence and supported in achieving their academic goals! Over 15 students and 300 teaching hours later, Temi continues to make a positive difference in the lives of many battling with math.
