Brilla does not sell, and never will sell, any user data. The only data that is collected is basic app usage statistics in order to help make the app better.
This app does not offer the option of creating a user account..
From the application, you can save the following data on your device like:
Manifestations and logs.
None of the items description described above is shared (manifestation text), everything is stored locally on the device. However we use TelemetryDeck to know the app usage as how many recipes a user (anonymous) has created. See more info in "Data analisys" section below.
Likewise, all the data necessary to generate and display the information is done locally.
The app gives the option to contact us for troubleshooting, support or general contact. This is the only process by which we obtain a user's email address, which will only be used to answer to the query.
Brilla uses a privacy-centric service called TelemetryDeck whose main objective is to provide entirely anonymized analytics to respect and maintain your privacy. The information that gets sent to TelemetryDeck cannot be traced back to you, as each physical device is assigned a unique identifier.
We use TelemetryDeck for registering simple signals, such as number of manifestations and app openings. This information is collected purely for the purpose of improving the app and understanding how users interact with the features. No personally identifiable information is collected through TelemetryDeck.
If you enable iCloud on your device, Brilla will securely store your manifestations and logs in your private iCloud account. This ensures your data is automatically backed up and available across your Apple devices. We do not have access to any of this information, and it is never shared with third parties. iCloud storage and synchronization are managed entirely by Apple, and subject to Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy policy.
Your data is stored locally on your device and If iCloud is enabled, Brilla will also back up your manifestations and logs to your private iCloud account. This allows your data to sync across your Apple devices and be restored if you reinstall the app.
If you delete the app, the data stored locally on your device will be removed. However, any data stored in iCloud will remain in your iCloud account unless you manually delete it through your device settings.
Auto-Renewable subscription payment will be charged to your Apple account as soon as purchase is confirmed. Your subscription will get auto renewed unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Please feel free to manage or cancel the auto-renew subscription at any time from the account settings on Apple after purchase. Link.
We also provide free trials on our plans inside the app. If you are to opt-in for a free trial, you won't be charged any amount till your free trial expires. Your subscription will automatically start once the free trial duration ends. If you subscribe before your free trial ends, the rest of your free trial period will be forfeited as soon as your purchase is confirmed.
If you want to cancel your free trial, make sure to cancel it from your iTunes Account Settings 24 hrs before the free trial ends.
We store no card information on the users inside the app. Your iTunes account will be charged when a purchase is confirmed. We do not save any information about the payment.
Personal Data processed to complete the purchases are processed by Apple, as described in the privacy policy for the App Store
We are not supporting family sharing of any In-App purchases in the app.
By continuing to use Brilla after any changes to the privacy policy are made, you acknowledge and agree to the updated policy.
We reserve the right, to modify or replace this Policy at any time. Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page. You should check this page from time to time and take note of any changes.
