Bristol Junior Geometry Seminar (BRIJGES)

BRIJGES is an informal seminar for junior researchers in geometry at Bristol. The aim is to provide an accessible setting where postgraduate students and postdocs can talk about their research or any topic that they have been learning about recently. In other words, any topic that interests you and that you think might interest other geometry postgraduates as well can be discussed here.

That said, students from other areas are encouraged to participate too! If you are a third or fourth year undergraduate student interested in geometry you are welcome as well!

This term the talks take place on Tuesdays from 4pm-5pm in room 2.04 of the Fry Building, next to the common room. The easiest way there is to head left from the main entrance and take the stone stairs (or the lift they encircle) to the second floor, then head round the corner to the left.

If you would like to give a talk or suggest a speaker, please contact Harry Petyt or Jordan Frost. We have a limited budget to cover expenses for external speakers.
